The Ministry of Haj launched its new Electronic Umrah Service on
Tuesday 1st July 2003 at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel. In the presence of
a high ranking Royal and VIP guest list including: HRH The Crown
Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, HRH Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz and
Prince Abdul Majid Bin Abdul Aziz, along with many executives from
companies such as HP, SISCO, TIBCO, Microsoft and Oracle, HAV
Productions produced a stunning presentation of the new system on a
50m wide stage set which featured five video projection screens.
HAV Productions also recorded the event for national television and
are in the process of producing a full documentary which will be
distributed world wide.
